Rancho de la Garza is tucked on the eastern slopes of Santa Maria and Rincón de la Vieja Volcanoes in Colonia Blanca, Costa Rica. Former cattle pasture, Rancho de la Garza is quickly growing forest, planting fruit orchards, and developing wetland gardens. Rancho Garza is developing two separate but related entities: the first is a for-profit ecotourism destination, and the second is a non-profit landscape management research center.
